Wes Fulford

Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Bitfarms as Chief Executive Officer, Wes Fulford has spent more than 10 years working as an investment banker with several leading U.S. and Canadian investment banks. Mr. Fulford brings considerable experience covering a variety of sectors including cryptocurrency mining and blockchain, financial institutions, mining and real estate. During his career as an investment banker, Mr. Fulford has been directly involved in over 100 successful financing and M&A transactions for both public and private companies. Mr. Fulford is a CFA charterholder and has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the I.H. Asper School of Business

John Rim

Chief Financial Officer
John Rim is the Chief Financial Officer at Bitfarms and has overall responsibility for the Company’s financial governance, reporting and planning. As a CPA, CA with over 20 years of business experience, John began his career in public accounting at KPMG and PwC and subsequently held roles of increasing responsibility and leadership within the accounting and tax functions at Fortune 500 multinational companies. For the past 7 years, John served as a senior finance executive at private equity portfolio companies owned by Brookfield Asset Management and Centerbridge Partners LLP where he worked closely on management teams to successfully finance, acquire and integrate multiple large-scale, global operations. With a proven track record of identifying opportunities and unlocking value, John has significant experience scaling and growing businesses through disciplined execution of strategic operational initiatives.

Pierre-Luc Quimper

Founder, President, and Director
Pierre-Luc Quimper is president and one of the founders of Bitfarms. He is a serial technology entrepreneur and investor with a long track record of successfully launching and scaling internet and networking businesses. Born in September 1983 in Saint Quentin, New-Brunswick, Pierre-Luc founded Globo.Tech Communications in 1999 while still attending High School. By being a strong believer in the adoption of broadband, the proliferation of digital content accessibility and the consumerization of the web, Globo.Tech made investments in critical internet infrastructures and provided various internet hosting solutions and DDoS mitigation far before these became well-known business models.

Emiliano J. Grodzki

Chief Strategy Officer, Founder & Director
Emiliano Joel Grodzki is the Chief Strategic Officer and one of the founders and directors of Bitfarms. Born in November 15, 1976 in Argentina, he has been a business builder and innovator since his early teens founding, incubating, and exiting interdisciplinary ventures in the design, food, and construction industries. In 1998, Mr. Grodzki founded “Technobuilding” a company that specialized in developing and engineering new construction systems for builders and architects. In 2002, he founded “Classic and Now” in partnership with his wife, Architect Gala Elman, which specialized in the development of high quality design furniture for public spaces and Hotels.

Nicolas Bonta

Founder and Chairman of the Board, and Director
Nicolas Bonta is a founder and Chairman of the board of directors and one of the founders of Bitfarms. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1975, he and is an hotelier and real estate Investor. In 1998, he founded one of the first boutique hotel companies in Argentina named ``Own Hotels`` which has grown to 6 locations in the city of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, Uruguay. Being a curious entrepreneur, Bonta has always sought to invest in new and innovative technologies under his personal portfolio.

Mathieu Vachon

Founder, Director of Software Engineering
Mathieu Vachon is the director of software engineering and one of the founders of Bitfarms. Born 1981 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Mr. Vachon is a software developer and internet entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in designing, developing, and scaling software and hardware internet technology ventures. Mr. Vachon is a self-educated coder who began programming in high school. He worked as a software developer for a VoIP billing software venture and he acquired the experience in dealing with high-load infrastructure programming. During his tenure, he worked with Pierre-Luc Quimper the founder of Globo.tech and began a working relationship and friendship that still remain to this day.

Anthony Lévesque

Vice president, Operations
As Vice-president of Bitfarms’ operations, Anthony plans and leads the deployment and daily operations of the company’s processing centers infrastructures. He has more than 10 years of experience in IT sales and marketing and 5 years as Chief Product Officer of a data center company, specializing in the development of products related to cloud computing and virtualization.
Louis Valois

Louis Valois

Vice president, Infrastructures
Louis oversees the Bitfarms’ processing centers infrastructure design and global network engineering, deployment and operation. He has more than 5 years of experience in cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies and system administration.
Bahador Zabihiyan

Bahador Zabihiyan

Public Relations director
Bahador oversees Bitfarms’ public and government relations. Prior to joining Bitfarms, he was a TV, web and radio reporter for Radio-Canada for a decade. Bahador holds a Bachelor’s degree from Université de Montréal in Political Science.
Matthieu Gauthier

Matthieu Gauthier

MPA – Administration manager
Matthieu leads the organisational planning and development of Bitfarms, the preparation and implementation of company policies, procedures and reporting. He brings more than 10 years of experience in international business development. Matthieu holds a Master’s degree in International Public Administration from École nationale d’administration publique, as well as diplomas in Law, Politics and Economics from Université de Montréal and Université Laval.
Nathaniel Port

Nathaniel Port

CPA - Accountant Controller
Nathaniel is responsible for the overall internal control, accounting and financial reporting functions at Bitfarms. Prior to joining the company, he worked as a Senior Auditor at a Montreal-based accounting firm, gaining experience in financial reporting, taxation and audit services for clients across various industries, notably technology and manufacturing. He received the Award of Excellence from CPA Quebec and ranked among the top 50 candidates in Canada on the 2017 Common Final Exam. Nathaniel is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accountancy, with distinction, as well as a graduate diploma in CPA from the John Molson School of Business
Marie-Pier Bombardier

Marie-Pier Bombardier

CRHA – Human Resources Advisor
Marie-Pier oversees the company’s recruitment process, HR policies, compensation review and labour relations. She brings a wealth of experience in mass recruiting and counseling upper management on HR issues in the telecom and public sectors. Marie-Pier holds a Bachelor’s degree from Université du Québec à Montréal in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources Management and is a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés.
